Again, this is Dick Freitag, stationed at NAVFAC Barbados from 66-68. Was there for independence, worked in Admin/post officer/compartment cleaner. Retired as a Command Master Chief, and have been teaching NJROTC for the past 13 years. Also, married a girl from Venezuela in Barbados, while Benjamin T. Hacker was XO. My dad was stationed in Barbados from 1964 - 1966. He was the hospital Corpsman there - CPO Stephen "Dutch" Leonard. I loved Barbados.
