Let's TALK about Barbados > SALE OF HILTON HOTEL
Thanks for stopping by Neal. I couldn't agree with you more. As a frequent visitor, I have seen many changes in the past decade. I admit this one was a surprise after all the PR about the opening of The Hilton.
Tourism Minister Noel Lynch says government will sell its share of the Hilton real estate if the price is right, and that seems to be the motto currently "the right price".

On the other hand Prime Minister Owen Arthur is saying that we have to sell land to pay bills. By the way, what ever happened to the hundreds of millions that were borrowed after 9/11 "for a rainy day"?
When will Owen and the BLP put for sale signs on Government Headquarters (prime for a 5 star hotel), the treasury building, the old National insurance building, the Sir Frank Walcott building, the renovated town hall or even Parliament buildings - all of which would be good office buildings?
