Hope the storm has not done any extensive damage to Barbados' tourist destinations.
Thanks for stopping by - yes I hope for the same. Will post hotel/resort damage info when available - Linda
Tourist destination??? Don't worry about the locals hey - as long as the tourists are okay!!!
Bob, thanks for taking the time to post.
I don't believe the first post was in any way a disregard for the locals. Barbados, along with the Caribbean region heavily depend on tourism.
As a U.S. travel consultant, potential tourists need to be aware of any damage to the tourism industry. Having visited Barbados for over a decade, I always try to balance info during the hurricane season to give our travel clients up to date info, as well as provide info about the local population.
Awesome post! It is generally affectionate and sunny all year round with an average daytime high of 75 - 85 F. The nights are usually slightly cooler. Limousine Hire Melbourne
