Almond Resorts announced May 1 as the official date of the opening of its new Barbados property, Almond Casuarina - formerly Casuarina Beach Club and Resort.

The resort has six categories of rooms, ranging from standard rooms to two-bedroom suites. The family-oriented, all-inclusive resort will offer dining at three gourmet restaurants and four bars serving premium brand drinks, three swimming pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, golf, a range of water sports with free tuition and a fully equipped Kids’ Club with amenities to suit all age groups from newborn to 16 years old and up.

Spa services will also be offered, but not included in room rate.
