Weather Continues to Disrupt U.S. Flights

It's awful COLD here in the Midwest - about 2 degrees currently - and I won't even go into how much SNOW we have.
The weather has been a factor for those trying to escape to the sunny Caribbean.
While many travel plans have been delayed, vacationers will NOT be deterred from their warm Caribbean destination.
Major airports in the Midwest and East Coast yesterday were struggling with delays and cancelled flights due to heave snow and ice storms.
As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, only 57 of 276 flights scheduled to depart Washington Reagan National Airport actually left, and most of those were delayed at least 45 minutes, according to Flightstats, a company that tracks flights.
At Chicago O'Hare, only 346 of the 834 flights scheduled to depart by 3 p.m. had actually done so.
