The impact of the 3rd annual Jazz Festival on the tiny island of Tobago vs. the Jazz Festival in Barbados was the subject on the Caribbean Beat blog.
Yvette Best, entertainment reporter at the Barbados Sun newspaper, wrote that "the Tobago Festival did not meet the "criteria of a Jazz Festival, but should instead have been called a "musical" festival". Then Caribbean Beat poses: "If Barbados, who has successfully staged jazz festivals for several years is worried, then you know that Tobago has made an impact".
