Masters Football Festival

The 10th anniversary of the Barbados International Masters Football Festival will host over 20 teams.

The festival starts today, and is sponsored by Banks Beer, The Ship Inn and the Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA), and will run until June 5.

24 teams will be divided into six groups, and kickoff today will be at three different venues - Wanderers, Carlton and Dover.

Some of the visiting teams are from the UK, USA, St Lucia, and St Vincent. The festival is expected to bring about $1 million to the local economy.
