World Cup Tickets on Sale in Barbados
Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 07:00PM Barbados' cricket fans have been the fourth busiest in trying to get tickets for next year's world cup.
With phase one of ticket sales now a few days old, the West Indies Cricket Board is reporting that persons in 53 countries have applied on-line, with the top five countries generating the most activity being the United Kingdom, the USA, Australia, Barbados, and Canada, in that order.
Meanwhile, the doors to the World Cup Barbados ticketing office opened at Pelican.
There was a steady flow throughout the day of people either making applications or seeking information on how the process will work.
