Oistins Fish Fry Every Friday

fish1a2.gifOistins is a small fishing village located on the South coast of the island. No matter which side of the island visitors are staying, a visit to Oistins is a must.

Barbadian fisherman deliver fresh fish daily to the market at Oistins, and quite a variety of seafood is offered at reasonable prices.

Every Friday you'll find an outdoor street fair with the the best barbecued chicken, flying fish, fish cakes, sweet potato, macaroni pie, coleslaw and other island delights. There's also musical entertainment, and opportunity to meet hundreds of visitors and locals. An average meal costs about US $5.00, and the portions are quite large, so you will get full.

Oistins is also home to the annual Fish Festival held during Easter Weekend.

Many people have asked about our Caribbean site logo image. It's my fantasy Caribbean island beach - it's only real in my mind.
